In April 2005 there was born a incredible beautiful colt here at Gut Füchtel by "Florencio" and our Donnerhall daughter "Arkona", which we bought a few years before from the Vechta Elite auction as a broodmare. He was a liver chestnut, his colour like milk chocolate, three white legs, a white blaze in his beautiful face. Right the first day ouside he was special! We had clients visiting us from Australia, they saw him and did not talk about anything else that day. My wife Andrea and I made a fast and important decision that day: "he is not for sale"!!
We did not really know why, but there was some special "aura" from this guy that made us sure to do the right thing. Many offers later we prepared him for the Oldenburg licensing as a two year old. He was quite tall, a bit slim but with incredible possibilities to move. We were sure this is a "premium" stallion..... After the pre-selection he was not even choosen for the hard ground and eliminated for the licensing. We, especially me, were ill for several weeks, so disappointed!
Next decision was: we will ride him and show them that he is special and so we did! In April 2008 we presented him a second time and he was licensed for Oldenburg! Next step was the 70- day performance test and in a really strong field he was the best stallion there with four times a 10 (!!) for rideability, canter and character! Again many people and studs offered lots of money but there still was our decision from his first day!!! "Not for sale"
So he went on stud with the cooperation with Böckmann Stud at Lastrup and the Celle State Stud! He is now one of Germanies and Europes most used and strongest stallions, well known world wide for his high quality, very rideable offsprings! His name is "Füchtels Floriscount"!
On the following pages you find more details regarding our star stallion on stud. For further questions feel free to contact us! Of course we apppreciate if you like to meet him in person or some of his offsprings. We'll make everythiung possible and we try to keep you posted about his news and successful offsprings.
